Everything seems OK, except when I tried connecting my external dvd rw ....
1) Windows displays a balloon alert that the "USB Device is Not Recognized"
2) Windows Device Manager lists the item under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" as "Unknown Device", with yellow alerts (!). When I check the item Properties, Device Status is "No drivers are installed for this device".
I verified that the philips external drive was OK by plugging it into another laptop, also running XP Pro SP2. That laptop detected it fine, and listed it correctly as another external drive
i tried to many things even i formated the computer ......
